In my perspective pretty depresing the backstage was cover monday by people that made the all backstage look like a kindergarden covering with colourfull abstract content the all left space . The right space was even more depressing made meaningless just tacked . It is really sad it is not possible to rise a constructif debate about backstage Danmark TODAY : 1) or the Charlottenborg paint over with wait paint the reflection about medias of today in a selectif way , or somebody (???whom ?) does kindergarden meaningless expresion .

SELECTIF HAND PAINTED OVER SOME OF THE ART WORK BUT NOT ALL

The sunday morning Charlotenborg Kunsthalle deceided to cover again with white paint art works from the night before .This time a selection was made Not everything was paint over like the day before - but a selection was made ,beetween what to keep and what was ok to remain , the psychology of the selectif choice is telling ( from my point of vieuw ) a lot about the psychology of what should stay or be removed . Sometimes a part of the work only was covered , taking away the fakta part . amputaded missing their center . The effort to not erased everything is a fascinating point .
In this case of the 11 th Januar : only 75 % of the work exhibited by a group of Emergency Room artists the evening of the 10 th were paint over . The childdish positif elements - armless - idiotic will stay like the heart but the text inside will disapear- for example ..amputing making meaningless the work . Another curious remark : the painting white left curiously the art work from Khaled Ramadan untouch . This art work was curiously not painted over . What was the criterium of keeping him ?and erase others .

the 12 th at around 3 pm the exhibition from the 11 th has been painted over in white by the team from the contemporary institution Charlottenborg . washed away - erased - eliminated .

Jens gave his final decission to accept Colonel Penetration at 11.31am : The curateur were informed by Jens about all this coming activies and accepted it .Colonel was not the only one that could use it . Colonel distributed a local penetration text to the press about the coming team of forreign danish artist burning to express about the sweddish danish thematic exhibition .Colonel knew several artist burning to express on the thema that felt they could contribute positvly exhibiting at DANMARK backstage (= DANMARK TODAY) .Previously Jens and Colonel looked at the part of the text concerning the backstage that Jens created and some correction were made . The inclusion of forreign danish etc was Colonel topics : Jens was interest in his piece as a front and back space , the content that will be exhibited in the back was not his agenda he was just opening his backstage to penetration
The backstage of Jens was conceived by Jens to be a backstage space and the access to express on the backstage was not only for Colonel and his teams of professionel artist but for others as well . /see video

Colonel phoned to Jens Haaning at 4 pm to hear if he will agree about a penetration. Jens Haaning is one of the leading artist international, his art involves debate , people , and question society in a intelligent manner . Jens Haaning has generated several international debates on important social - human subjects. Colonel has done several penetration in 2007 at the Venice Biennial with Copyflex and Morten Friis ( 4 national pavillons) , at the Athens Biennial with 10 artist from the emergency room , and at the Istanbul biennial (Copyflex) . .Colonel has also done "penetration" as early as 1987 but they were called Moving exhibition de type conviviale instead ( if welcoming ) - The art critic Rune Gade has written a text in his anthology about that period .Penetration occures when an artist burning to express is asking another one to share some of his space . the emergency is the motivation - the motor .The penetration is a positif solution for the artist recieving the space and positif for the one giving it it is also appreciable for the public as the subject are concerning their worries . Curators are not always too enthusiast about penetration , they are CC in the project while artist doing their aggreement togehter directly . It is positif that artist make some road togehter also in expected situation .
(group shows are not expected situation ) . Colonel believe that for an installation artist this issue with the owning of the art space is fundammental . Colonel is interest also in making the sharing of space a commun practice a format , and expand this way of working , creating communauties . Penetration is art format with methods , framework and experiences : Colonel does art format and experiment them :( like Emergency Room / Biennalist / sportart etc ... Developping the Awareness muscle and looking at emergencies before it is too late is an leading motivation .Penetration it is not hijjacking - it is not a wrappe it is a positif think a pro creatif act . it is smooth and aggrreed act .

How ever JENS HAANING CREATED A BACKSTAGE SPACE IN HIS PIECE so the recipient for the penetration had been conceived by Jens in his creation of the backstage
